Wine Tastings & Events Calendar

Our experts and guest speakers conduct tastings, seminars and other events on a weekly basis for those interested in learning more about wine. These events are very informal offering an opportunity to gather with friends or meet new people in a fun and interesting setting. In-store, information about upcoming events can be found on the display boards in the Wine Bar area. Here is a listing of our upcoming events.

Our Wine Consultants select groups of wines from specific regions or wineries for our special tasting events. These are a great way to discover new wines.

Upcoming Tasting Events

Please join us at The Wine Market and More for our weekly wine tastings, where you will always find a unique combination of wines from a region or winery. All wines are on sale during the Tasting Events. Most tasting events are Fri-Sat 10-9 Sunday 1-6. Cost: $10.00 per person (unless otherwise specified), Most tasting events include light hors d'oeuvres.

  Great selections of reds from Italy to Australia that are sure to impress on price and leave you wanting a second taste! $10.
  2006 Phillipe Colin Bourgogne - Philippe Colin is producing wines that carry on the tradition of his father, the famed Michel Colin-Deleger, along with the addition of some stylistically brilliant hallmarks of his own - even at the Bourgogne level.
  2004 Arceno Primavoce - From its roots in the Etruscan civilization, its ownership by the wealthy and respected Taja family, its sale to one of the most illustrious families of Siena, the Piccolominis, and finally to its acquisition by Jess Jackson and Barbara Banke in 1994, the history of Tenuta di Arceno unfolds, long and sinuous in time. The people who live and work there today are only the most recent link to ancient traditions, which should be conserved and respected
  2005 Two Brother Big Tattoo Red - This wine comes from two brothers, Alex, a wine importer, and Erik, a tattoo artist, who wanted to pay homage, in a non-serious way, to their late mother who suffered from cancer. They decided to label and bottle their own wine and donate the proceeds to a good cause. Introduced in the Winter of 2002, sales from Big Tattoo Wines has raised over $850,000 for charity.

  2006 BR Cohn Silver Label Cabernet Sonoma County, California - Bruce Cohn, founder and proprietor of B.R. Cohn Winery, has embraced a lifelong passion for Northern California’s wine country and its bounty. An equally strong passion for music led to a parallel career in the music industry as the manager for one of rock ‘n’ roll’s perennially favorite American bands, The Doobie Brothers.
